Life After JCS

I owe a lot of blogging mileage. Too many milestones in the past two weeks have passed without me logging on.
As some know my birthday came and went without much fanfare.
Actually there was a huge fanfare. March 3 was our opening night and after a few boo-boos, we came away high from the show.
March 4, I checked all afternoon at Starbucks Ashcreek. I also allowed the 3C guys to consult me regarding their papers.
That night I had birthday dinner that was far more modest than what I would have usually had. Xavier friends (and of course some members of my barkada) made it all the more special.
Sunday was my birthday, I spent it at Mary the Queen, selling tickets to JCS, went home, had lunch with Papa and Joey at Fish and Co. (damn good seafood platter) and then I went home to sleep, only to put up all nighter checking papers.
The rest of the week was a blur. Rushing papers and working out new kinks and adding a new song and finding excuses to hang out all made the week go by like it was nothing.
The final show was a bit premature, a little bit underpowered, but I loved it anyway. Too many things nearly went wrong and in the end, things worked out, but many people still did not see the fruit of our labors.
So I come home post JCS. I tried not to be too mushy so I just kept my congratulations to a minimum and went on my way.
Now, I think I'm crazy.
I miss the group. Not sure if they miss me though. After all, who can miss me, the source of terror and the Zeus that smites the mortals.
Sometimes I just feel that I'm just there to facilitate their fun. Do the paperwork and make sure they're happy (and that they're doing their tasks). Then I need to clean up their mess.
Maybe I'm just tired, but I'm overwhelmed by this little black cloud.
