We finally made it!
IFS Oxford 2006 at Heathrow, fresh from our 13 hour flight from Hong Kong
After a 24hour journey, from April 30, 2006 at 6:30 AM in Makati, when we met up, a one and half hour trip to Hong Kong, a thirteen hour flight to London, and an hour bus trip to Oxford, we were all rarin' to go to town on May 1.
Since May 1's a holiday, we didn't have anything planned. Advan and I were supposed to go to the centre with Marjorie (Mrs. Bradford, our host mum). I contacted Charles and Alan, who apparently lived just around the corner, to see if they wanted to join us to the centre.
We met up and went to the center on the number 5 bus. For lunch, we ate some meat pastries (delicious British empanada) and the ham and cheese sandwiches which Marjorie packed for us. A pigeon shat on my hand. Fun. Celine and Chesca panicked like crazy about their host family (that's for another post). Later we met with Lora and had some coffee with her.
After she left, we bummed around until everything closed at around 4:30 PM (shucks!). Oh yeah, Koki sort of got lost, but thank goodness he found his way. Eventually, 3C Regular was complete!

HOGAs invade Oxford!
Later that night, we talked around the suburbs at 9 PM. It was frickin' cold. I think I should have brought gloves. I wanted to go to the pub. We went in for a bit, but then we quickly moved out.
Maybe next time.
